An important addition to the PMC line of handgun cartridges for 1999 is the 357 Sig, a cartridge that is rapidly growing in popularity for both consumer and law enforcement use. The new, low cost PMC practice round features a 124 grain, Full Metal Jacket/Flat Point bullet with a muzzle velocity of 1350 feet per second, which closely approximates most duty and home defense versions of the cartridge.
