Heat treating is done in a vacuum furnace for clean, consistent hardness of 40-43 Rc.
Barrels are bored are rifled using EDM process (electrostatic discharge machine). This process produces greater accuracy (+/-50 millionths of an inch!!) and a superior
finish (16 RMS or better). It also creates less stress than button broach cutting resulting in a more accurate and durable barrel.
Every barrel we sell is a National Match. Unlike our competitors, every single barrel we manufacture is a National Match.

All barrels can shoot lead and jacket bullets. Lead bullets are required by many gun ranges and are less expensive to shoot.
Our barrels drop in, but due to the very high tolerances held by our machining standards, some fitting may be required on a small percentage of them.
