One main difference is the Night Storm comes with 5 magnification and built in infra-red illuminator. The Night Mariner requires you to buy an accessory package to achieve these features. However, the Night Shadow is only water resistant, not waterproof and does not float if dropped in water. |

The MK6600/7700 scopes utilize a highly accurate red on green reticle system that has 1/8 MOA windage and elevation adjustments at 100 yards. Plus the reticle is behind the light intensifier tube that prevents tube burn. |

The ITT unit only has a 2.5x-10x magnification as opposed to the AMTc unit which has a 4-12x. Plus the ITT unit has a 56mm objective lens with a 1-inch tube. The 4-12x80 has an 80mm objective lens and a 40mm tube for maximum light transmission. The 3rd Gen sc opes come standard with US 3rd Gen 45lp/mm tubes. However, if requested the following tubes are available.
