Aimpoint Cantilever Mount

GG&G has now developed a new Aimpoint ring for those shooters wanting to mount an Aimpoint directly to their flat top receiver. This mount cantilevers the Aimpoint forward far enough so that a night vision monocular can be mounted behind the Aimpoint even with a 3x lens attached. The height of the mount has been set so that the red dot will be above the front sight post yet low enough so that the shooter can still deploy the rear flip up sight and sight through the Aimpoint to the front sight post should the battery fail. As with the standard Aimpoint ring the cantilever version includes a spare battery compartment and spare Aimpoint battery cap.
