This rail was designed to easily slip on to the AR-10 flat top and extend three inches beyond the receiver. It is designed to fit with the MAD flip up rear iron sight as shown above. The GG&G Scout Rail is manufactured to meet Mil Spec 1913, and can easily be installed without removing the charging handle. The mount locks onto the flat top receiver utilizing a locking side bar with two allen head screws. This provides positive and straight lock up even on worn receiver rails. The standard allen wrench used for installation is included with the mount.
